Design: This coin showcases the magnificent classic Canadian maple from the novel perspective of being at the bottom of the tree. Looking up past the massive gnarled trunk, thick branches reach upward and outward, making the canopy appear distant against the sky. The textural and tonal design of the trunk, branches and leaves help reinforce the image’s sense of height and depth. The coin was designed by artist Emily Damstra.

Packaging: The coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint branded maroon clamshell case lined with black flock and protected by a black sleeve.
