Description
Canada: 2025 $50 Ultra High Relief 5 oz Silver Maple Leaf Pure Silver Coin
Design: Canada is a four-season nation known for its year-round beauty, but nature’s
ever-shifting palette peaks in the fall, turning our landscapes into a
showstopping canopy of colour. This is when the diversity of our vast forests is
on full display, with each tree species making a unique contribution to the
woodland landscapes that are vital not only to our natural heritage, but to our
very identity as Canadians.
An expression of pride for these incredible landscapes, the Heart of the Forest
pulsating field pattern returns in 2025, transporting the viewer into the heart
of a misty forest on the reverse of this 5-oz. coin—the largest (65 mm) of the
Royal Canadian Mint’s 2025 Ultra-High Relief (UHR) Silver Maple Leaf (SML)
and Gold Maple Leaf (GML) coins. The trees fall in and out of view behind the
maple leaf struck in Ultra-High Relief and highlighted by rose gold plating,
which stands in for red, the boldest of Canada’s fall hues and official colours.
