German: Army Dagger by Carl Eickhorn

Heer Dolch für und Führer by Carl Eickhorn. The blade on this dagger is in poor condition due to the broken tip The acid-etched maker mark "Original Eickhorn Solingen" is dark, sharp. The original brown leather buffer pad is still intact. The scabbard, made of steel and nickel-silver plated, showcases remarkable detail with its random pebbling and oak leaf and acorn bands. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated Eickhorn (designed by Paul Casberg) crossguard exhibits beautiful, crisp detail. The pommel and ferrule are also intricately detailed with prominent oak leaves and acorns. The orange trylon grip on this piece looks excellent.
