Poland: WW2 Polish Silver Honorary Jerusalem Cross in Silver.

A World War Two cross presented to members of the Free Polish Army in Exile. These crosses were conferred upon “each worthy Catholic pilgrim” who journeyed to the Holy Land. Silver crosses were granted to those who made two visits to the Holy Land and completed the required contributions and payments for the cross. Numerous soldiers from the 2nd Polish Corps and the Polish Army stationed in the Middle East received this honor and proudly displayed the cross on their uniforms. Crafted from sterling silver, the cross is hallmarked on the back with 925. Its dimensions are 42mm x 47mm without the suspension ring.
